Planhat's data tables are versatile. You can create new fields, combine fields with formulas, display realtime metrics, edit in-line, and much more. Better still, these actions are all connected to a your other systems, from CRMs to data warehouses.

Now, we've added the ability to bulk update any field, on any object, making the data module as easy to use as a spreadsheet, with the power of a data warehouse.

πŸ“Œ Important to note: bulk updating overwrites existing field values, so be careful especially when updating fields which may have multiple values, such as a multipicklist, since existing entries will be replaced.

See a super-quick walkthrough below:

Bulk Update Fields

For any manually inputted entry field in the Data module, you can now bulk update.

  1. Select the rows you want to update by checking the box on the left hand side

  2. Go into the three dots in the top right and select "Set Field"

  3. Choose the corresponding field

  4. Select the field's value for the selected entries and click set

Watch the field update for all the selected rows in a matter of seconds. There'll be useful green notification confirming the field change in the top right, too.
