You can use tags in several powerful ways in Planhat. We go over how you can use, add and remove them on a company and end user level.

Using tags in Planhat can help you flag and identify companies or end-users with information that is important to your customer success strategy or processes.Β 

This article will cover how to set them up and several powerful and actionable ways you can use them throughout Planhat πŸ‘.Β 


Company & End User Tags

Currently, we don't have a "library of tags" instead, all currently used tags are available as options when you add a new one. So just add the tags you need, when you need them, and as you add new tags you'll have previously used tags as options.

There are several places you can add a tag to a company or an end-user:

1. Data Module

Add or remove tags from the Data module in Planhat. This is great if you need to bulk-tag a group of companies or end-users.Β The GIFs below show how to bulk add/remove tags from the Data module.


2. Customer 360/End-User Portfolio view

You have the option to add or remove tags from accounts and end-users via the company profile. See below how to do this πŸ˜ƒ.

3. Import Tags via API or Excel

Import tags via Excel or our API. Just like you would normally import Company data, whether that's via Excel or API, you can import tags.

πŸ“ŒImportant to note: When you import tags, any existing tags will be replaced.
