The Planhat application has a sophisticated search bar that's available in the "Data" and "Customer Intelligence" modules. The search bar allows you to really drill down into your data so you can extract the exact data that you require 🤓.

📌 Important to note: we're using the search bar that's on the "Data" module > "Companies" page in our examples in this article. The search bar options do change slightly from object to object because the fields and data are different.

When you access the "Data" or "Customer Intelligence" module, at the top of the page you will see the search bar in it's unextended form (Image A) which you can use to do a basic search.

On the left hand side of the search bar, you have two options:

1. Filter using an existing filter on the Company object: if you click on the "All companies" section, a menu will appear with a list of your existing filters that are on the Company object. Select the filter that you would like to apply.

2. Filter on a specific company owner: if you click on the "E" icon a drop down menu will appear displaying a list of account owners. Select the account owner that you would like to filter on.

On the far right hand side of the unextended search bar, there's a small down facing arrow, if you click on that the full extended search bar options will appear. These search options allow you to really drill down into your data in order to extract the exact data that you want. "Image B" is showing you what the extended search bar looks like when you're on the Company data object.

There's a few different options on the search bar that you can use. By default there's a few fields available that you can filter on: Phase, Owner, Tags Any Of and Status. This is what the rest of the search bar options do:
