The Power User Certification is a great way for you to enhance your Planhat knowledge
It's particularly relevant if you're a Planhat builder or owner, responsible for customising and managing your Planhat tenant - but is also great for anyone really curious about the full potential of Planhat
It consists of 4 courses, which are primarily video-based, and you will demonstrate your new knowledge in quizzes to earn badges

What is the Power User Certification?
The Power User Certification is Planhat's online product training program. It's composed of 4 courses:
Organising customer data
Taking action with data
Telling stories with data
Customising your tenant
The courses contain videos (screenshares and animations), text with graphics, PDF resources, and quizzes.
It's a fantastic way for you to learn about some of the advanced features of Planhat, and think about Planhat as a whole, focusing on key Customer Success topics and practical use cases rather than just product instructions, so you can easily implement what you've learned.

The courses are a fun and easy way for you to upskill.
You'll become more self-sufficient, so you won't need to ask for help from your Planhat CSM/TAM or the Support team as often - indeed, you'll be a Planhat expert within your organisation!

Who is the Power User Certification for?
This certification is particularly designed for:
Planhat builders and owners ...
... who already know the basics of Planhat
Much of the certification content covers configuring your tenant - creating Formula Fields and Calculated Metrics, setting up Workflows, designing Pages, managing Roles, and changing tenant settings. Therefore, it’s most applicable to Planhat Admins, CS Ops, Main Users and Managers etc. If that isn't you, you could still take the courses to better understand what’s possible, but you may not have access to all the functionality described.
The course content generally assumes some knowledge of Planhat - e.g. it talks about advanced filters but does not go over the basic concept of filters in detail - and so it’s mainly aimed at people who have a foundation of Planhat knowledge.
If you're brand-new to Planhat, and you're not going to be building/managing your organisation's tenant, the beginners’ webinar is your best source of training instead - or at least, start with that first to give you some good base knowledge. 🙂
What will I learn about?
The courses are designed to teach you how the different aspects of Planhat come together to enable you to deal with customer challenges. There are plenty of use-case examples discussed throughout, so it’s clear what is the value of each feature and how it can be put into practice.
The first 3 courses broadly follow the process you carry out in Planhat:
compiling, structuring and transforming data,
carrying out actions in response to changes in data,
and then visualising and analysing your data (including reviewing process results).
The fourth course is about customising your tenant, and is a little more stand-alone, although it does still build upon earlier content (e.g. regarding Pages, in the context of Custom Company Profile Pages).
It’s therefore recommended that the courses are taken in order.

Automating actions (tasks and notifications) using Custom Automations
Course 3 - Telling stories with data
Visualising data in the Data Module (including Grouped View and Board View)
Pre-built reports - including the Bubble Room and the Revenue Module
Pages - use cases, widgets, design tips, and how to share them, etc.
Course 4 - Customising your tenant
General settings - including automatic generation of End Users, NPS settings, and branding
Email settings - email filtering, email matching mode, and email templates
Roles and permissions
Custom Company Profile Templates and Pages
How long does each course take?
One of the great things about the Power User Certification is that you can work through it at your own pace, whenever is convenient for you.
The exact length of time each course takes can vary from person to person - it depends on how fast/slow you read and watch the videos, and how long you pause to complete exercises, etc., but to give you a general guideline, each course typically takes about 1-3 hours to complete.
Don't worry, you don't have to go through each course in one go - you can take a break whenever you need, and come back to it later on.
You can access all your enrolled courses (e.g. if you are part-way through a course) via your dashboard.
You can sign up to each of the 4 courses individually, so you don't need to do all of them at the same time.

For each course, you’ll see a blue Register here button. Simply click this and submit your details. The Planhat Enablement team will add you to the course, and you'll receive a welcome email confirming your enrolment, with a link to get started.
