The Operations Module is the home for:

  1. Automations: react and act on any data update in Planhat

  2. Integrations: move data between Planhat and other systems (eg. SFDC)

This article describes these two areas of the Operations Module and how you can leverage it in your daily work in Planhat.

πŸ“Œ Release note, Nov 2023: Integrations, Connections and Automations

In Nov 2023 we released the Operations Module, which merged Automations, Connections, and Integrations into a single hub. While these three serve overlapping use cases (moving data in and out of Planhat), they were previously spread out across the app - merging them into a single module makes it easier to work with your data operations.

πŸ“Œ Note: this is a UI reorganisation, so all your existing Automations, Connections and Integrations work like before and you do not need to take any actions!

Automate tab

The Automate tab is replacing the previous Automation station and is where you can create automations using our extensive library of templated automations or create your own custom automation.

Integrate tab

The Integrate tab is replacing the previous Integrations and Connections pages and is where you set up and configure integrations with third party tools. These can be either:

  1. Native integration, built by and supported by Planhat (previous found on the Integration page under Settings)

  2. Custom Integrations, built by yourself and unsupported by Planhat (previously found under Connection and Automations)

Read more about integrations in the article The Operations Module: Creating your first Integration.
