Creating Shared Goals or Milestones with customers is a great way to have specific, defined, and measured objectives that can be discussed with complete transparency.

Shared Goals in Customer Portals use Success Units from the Customer profile. You can choose which Success Units to share and both you and your customer can write updates and descriptions related to the Shared Goal.

To learn more about Success Units please read this article

Shared Goals can be either objective and tied to data in Planhat, or subjective and measured using a 5-step traffic light system.

If you choose a Shared Goal that is measured by data, you will first need a Calculated Metric (and Success Unit) that correctly measures the data. To learn more about Calculated Metrics, please read this article.

If you choose to use a subjective shared goal, both you and your customer can edit the score and write comments.

Any changes to Shared Goals in a customer portal will be reflected in the corresponding Success Unit on the company profile.
