Enabling the Page for sharing

You can share any public dashboard from Customer Intelligence in a Customer Portal πŸ₯³ you will just need to hover over the icon at the top right-hand corner of the page -> Settings and set the 'Enable for sharing on Customer Portals' toggle to 'Yes':

Sharing to the portal

Once you have enabled the Page to be shared you can then use the "+ Share New" within a customer portal to add the Page!

Select the "Page" tab, find the page you wish to share from the list of available pages, and click the green "+"!

πŸ“Œ Important to note!

Data found on a shared Page will only ever show the data relevant to the company whose portal the page has been shared to, so Company A will not see Company B data.

Sharing is caring!

The typical use case is to create dashboards displaying customer usage data and engagement data. When shared, the dashboard will automatically filter to display only data related to the customer accessing the Portal.

Dashboards in Portals are updated every time the page is loaded meaning your customer always has access to live data and not just when you send them a PowerPoint during a QBR.

At Planhat, we believe this level of transparency will become a key expectation of customers in the future.

We encourage you to create complete transparency with your customers about their use of your products, and create dashboards with benchmarks so they understand your expectations of good usage. In reviews discuss their usage openly while referencing the dashboard and try to understand why their usage is above or below your expectations.Β
