Sometimes an end-user is in Planhat twice, for example if one user is associated with multiple companies. If you would no longer like to have two separate profiles for this end-user then you can merge those two profiles together without losing any data.
How to Merge End-User Profiles:
Go to the end-user profile that you would like to KEEP.
β
βGo to the menu in the top right hand corner and select "Merge with Other Contacts". If there are any other accounts with the same email address in Planhat then they will automatically be listed and Planhat will ask you if you would like to merge these profiles with the one currently selected.
β
βIf you would like to proceed with the merge, simply select "Merge Contacts". The empty fields of the current contact will be filled with values from the other contacts selected and data like tags, personas, activities, etc. will be merged into the current contact.
π Important to note: you need to have "Admin Access" enabled on your role to be able to merge end-user profiles. If you don't have that permission you can ask an administrator to merge the end-user for you or they can enable that permission for you.
